luminous place on the water
it was a great experience, waking up with sunrise on the water. lovely staff full of inspiring suggestions about places to visit, alternative shops and walks in nature. good facilities, hot water, heater and warm atmosphere, very relaxing. highly recommended!
I couldn't find a restaurant open on valentine's evening nearby.

Really enjoyable and that bit different to normal accommodation.
It was a little way out of the main city, but very accessible by tram. It was a really unusual place to stay and will stay in our memories for a long time. I'd love to send my friends and family to stay here.
A very minor thing was there was rather a steep drop down to a lower deck just to the left of the entrance door, so you need to be careful coming in at night. But this is such a minor thing, I'm ashamed to mention it :)

Lovely studio on a houseboat, charming view!
Lovely private bedroom on Liesbeth's houseboat, with a nice bathroom. Cozy atmosphere and charming view! We fell in love with the small sheltered terrace, even in winter! Special tip: visiting the village of Durgerdam, quite close to the boat.
The boat is not very close to the city center, which is not a problem if you are looking for peace and quiet and proximity to nature! Accessing the room can be a bit dangerous for the clumsy ones...
